Amy Eye
My name is Amy, and I am having the most fun I have probably ever had in my life, outside of the time I thought about cow tipping. That was a great thought. But this has turned out to be even better! I am not only getting to live my dream of working in the literary field, but now I get to stretch my DJ skills out to the masses by being a host on JournalJabber! I’m almost starting to feel really cool. I promise I won’t let fame go to my head. I will always pass you the salt, I’m not above that! GEESH!
I am looking forward to talking books with everyone out there. Books have been my passion since I was old enough for my grandmother to pull me up in her rocker and read to me. I read a wide variety of genres, and I would have a hard time saying which was my absolute favorite. I will say, however, that Harry Potter will remain my all-time favorite book series. There is nothing else out there that will make me happier than opening up one of those books and reading it for the twentieth time. (See I told you I wouldn’t let fame get to me! LOL)
I hope you enjoy the shows that Cambria, Cassie, and I are putting together for you. We are not there to merely entertain ourselves, but to make sure you all have a great time as well. Participate often and put your real thoughts and ideas out there. We want to hear it all and for that we need YOU! You can always e-mail us your book suggestions for the JournalJabber show at amy@theeyesforediting.com. Thanks for sharing a part of this with us!!
Cambria Hebert
Cambria is a writer and mother of two. She loves Starbucks (I’ll take a latte!) and is obsessed with werewolves. She has an irrational fear of chickens (Ewww! Gross) and loves to read. Her favorite place to go is Barnes & Noble and someday she hopes to see her books grace their shelves (I’ll need a tissue!). You can find more of her craziness at http://cambriahebert.com.
Cassie McCown
Cassie is a mother of three residing in the Huntsville, Alabama area. From Dr. Seuss and the Babysitter Club series to Stephen King and Jane Austen, she grew up delighting in the multifarious realm discovered only in books. Now that life is crammed with ball practice and ballet classes, she relishes the limited “me-time” she so eagerly fills with her love for reading.
After doing some work with and writing reviews for a publishing company, Cassie was inspired to start her own review blog as a place to record all her book, movie, and television reviews together (www.gatheringleavesreviews.blogspot.com).
Being a co-host on the Blog Talk Radio show, JournalJabber, is one of the most recent honors she has accepted. She always looks forward to the great times she has every Tuesday with her co-hosts and friends, Amy and Cambria. You'll usually find her ruling over the chat room, because, really, who can get a word in with those crazy gals?!?
Frank W. Smith
We are super excited to add some testosterone to the show! He is practically a permanent installment in the chat room, but you can now hear some of his brilliant interviews on air...
Frank W. Smith has done many things in life: soldier, missionary, exterminator and author. His first book Wolf Song released in 2012. Born and raised in lovely urban New Jersey, he has also lived in the North East Kingdom in Vermont, Nogales, Arizona, and in Bangalore, India.
He spends his time writing, reading, learning and finding anything to occupy his easily bored mind.
